Jobaye Converts Sallah Waste To Gas

Redundant Digester due to insufficient waste.
We have this digester which has been non functional until recently when sallah-luck finally smiled upon us. Due to insufficient waste, the digester had been so hungry, hence it couldn't produce gas... But thanks to our Alhaji neighbor who threw a lavish sallah party, we were able to rescue some of his food remnants from being wasted.

Biogas Packaged in Tire Tubes

One of the major headaches of any flammable Gas especially our conventional cooking gas at home is Storage. Because of its explosive nature, the gas needs to be bottled in Cylinders for safety reasons.... Biogas is an exception, it is non-explosive hence it can be stored practically anywhere from bags to plastic containers, compressed bottles etc.

Waste From Abattoir Set To Provide Cooking Gas And Electricity

We finally completed the evacuation of waste from the abattoir yesterday morning.. Although transporting the 'trash' was really hectic but we take solace in the treasure we are going to derive from it... Our next mission was to feed our very massive digester (150,000L) which started immediately the waste came on board.

Ongoing Evacuation Of Waste From Lagos Abattoir

We received an SOS call from an abattoir in Lagos to come and save their environment from further pollution and degradation. The meat vendors obviously don't like the conditions they are in as some of them complained about the awful smell and how the 'rubbish' from their cows is bastardizing their environment.

Completion Of 2000L Biogas Digester

Earlier in the day we went to the Odo-Eran Abattoir in Bariga to purchase about 300kg of Cow Dung. The Meat sellers have added the shit business to their revenue stream, when we asked why they charge so high for ordinary 'igbe maalu', their oga kept saying its their company policy and they need to pay their staffs.lol
